Maxcademy B.V. is an international, creative e-learning agency headquartered in The Hague. We focus on creating modern educational products such as e-learning, software simulations and animation videos. We do this with a motivated team that is partly based in Suriname and partly in Curacao. We also work closely together with freelancers from among others Canada, the USA, the UK and South Africa.

We are looking for an (upcoming) e-learning specialist to strengthen our team in Paramaribo. Experience is not necessary, but it is nice if you have affinity with one of our fields: business administration, training and/or software. We are looking for someone who is curious, works independently, is resourceful and really knows how to get things done. And who is always looking for ways to do their work even better and more efficiently.

Career

You start learning with us right away. The first few days you will follow training courses that we have created for our customers. These are interesting training courses with business topics, from which you can learn a lot.

Then we will teach you how we edit videos, how we make software simulations and how we set up courses. Under the guidance of your mentor - an experienced e-learning expert - you will soon be working to create valuable products for our customers. You'll continue to learn daily throughout your career: Whether it's in e-learning or in our customers' products that the courses are about.

You will be expected to participate in improving the content we offer and in promoting our services to potential new customers. We expect you to read professional literature and follow courses during your career to keep your knowledge up to date.

Requirements

• You speak and write perfect Dutch and English;

• You have good computer and software skills;    

• You have attention to detail;

• You have a Bachelor or Master level of work or thinking.

• Quick learner, especially in the use of new software tools;

• No trouble meeting deadlines;

• Team player;

• Goal-oriented;

• Independent;

• Initiative-driven.
