Maxcademy B.V. is an e-learning agency from The Hague. We design and develop custom e-learning, animation videos, interactive modules and LMS solutions for organisations that want to convey knowledge, behaviour and processes at scale.
We combine instructional design, content development, multimedia and learning technology. This allows us to not only create beautiful modules, but especially learning solutions that work practically for the target audience, fit within the organisation and integrate well with the LMS.

Learning Experience
We ensure that the learning solution works in practice. This means: suitable for the LMS, clear for the learner, scalable for the organisation and measurable where necessary.
Every project is different. Sometimes a short interactive module is enough. Sometimes an organisation requires a complete learning path with multiple target groups, reports and LMS integration. In both cases, we look for the solution that best fits the problem, the target audience and the available time.

Who is behind Maxcademy
Maxcademy was founded by Jan Kouwenhoven, a specialist in learning technology, instructional design, and digital learning solutions.
Jan has a bachelor's degree in ICT and over fifteen years of experience in digital learning, product development, LMS implementations, product ownership, business process management, and international collaboration. At Maxcademy, he focuses on learning strategy, instructional design, technology, LMS configuration, and the development of interactive learning solutions.
Together with an international team of designers, developers, animators, copywriters, voice-over professionals, and learning designers, Maxcademy builds learning solutions from concept to delivery.
Our team helps with writing scripts, producing voice-overs, creating animations, building Rise modules, developing interactive content, conducting quality checks and testing modules in the LMS.

Our vision on AI
We use AI as a tool, not as a replacement for good learning design.
AI can assist in brainstorming, summarising, structuring, translating, proofreading and speeding up certain production processes. But the content, pedagogical choices and final editing remain human tasks.
In client projects, we only use AI in a way that aligns with the agreements, privacy requirements and quality standards of the organisation. When AI is deployed, we do so consciously, transparently and with human oversight.
