Hi, I'm Adriana 👋
I’m passionate about solving complex problems with empathy, curiosity and inclusivity. For the past 8 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of research, product strategy, and hands-on making. Backed with MSc. in Equality Studies, I specialize in turning abstract ideas into accessible, human-centered digital products.
I'm open to collaborate in experience design, user research, and learning design.

An off-grid renewable energy interface
As a lead designer, I co-created the concept and designed the MVP of a power hub built inside a 20-foot shipping container. This hub was engineered to provide electricity, heating, cooling, and water management to off-grid environments such as zero-emission yachts.
Deconstructing complexity: Understanding how the unit converted and stored energy well enough to turn it into user flows and a data hierarchy where a technician could spot an issue in 2 seconds, and a casual viewer could instantly grasp real-time impact.
Making it usable for everyone involved: Mapping live data (temperatures, battery levels, etc.) to the right level of detail for each audience.
System diagrams mapping data relationships between hardware components and the software's state-management layer
Wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes focused on data legibility and operational workflows
Design system developed in collaboration with visual designers to establish a high-end visual language

The result was a highly technical hub made accessible, both as an operational tool and an educational one for sustainable innovation.
Custom CMS for medical guidelines
I co-created the custom Content Management System (CMS) for the Dutch College of General Practitioners (NHG). This platform creates and distributes the official medical guidelines used by thousands of doctors across the Netherlands
Mapping the logic: In co-creation sessions, together with the experts we mapped the main user flows and data hierarchy that allowed editors to track revisions, handle peer reviews, and categorize content without losing clinical precision.
Designing for cognitive speed & safety: In medical UX, clear information design can save lives. We focused heavily on data legibility, structural consistency, and search taxonomy. The goal was to map dense medical data into an interface that minimizes cognitive load, ensuring users could easily read critical instructions and would not overlook issues.
A completely redesigned the experience that allows medical experts to write medical guidelines and manage a massive amount of data, ensuring that GPs can find critical medical answers in seconds during a patient consultation.

The resulting MVP successfully empowered medical editors to publish with confidence and helped GPs deliver safe, evidence-based care. With a few clicks, they can access the right diagnose, dosage. The live system provides a reliable foundation that since my involvement has been further developed and continues to scale.

Scalable e-learning for women entrepreneurs
The founder of Wyseminds wanted to scale her business-growth methodology and turn it into a scalable digital platform. The goal is to capture her knowledge and transform it into a series of structured online programmes, courses, and accessible learning bites for women entrepreneurs.
- Learning strategy & architecture: I defined the learner personas and mapped out the end-to-end learning paths. I aligned the educational goals directly with Wyseminds’ business scaling goals, establishing clear learning objectives for every module.
- Concept & content creation: I wrote the core educational content based on interviews with the Subject Matter Expert, structured the learning modules, and created the concepts for all multimedia assets.
- Multimedia production & asset design: I directed and created the visual storytelling assets, including scripting and developing videos and animations to make abstract business concepts highly engaging.
- Execution & stakeholder management: I managed the coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Journey and learning paths: Detailed blueprints of the methodology as well as the entrepreneur's learning journey.
- Completed multimedia assets: Shipped multimedia content ready for streaming within the platform.
- Deployed educational content: Scorm packages, workbooks, videos and animations delivered within their Learning Management System.

This project is still ongoing.
We are successfully transforming the methodology into actionable digital learning paths.
