SONIC THE HEDGEHOG TRAINER (1 day per week)

Maxcademy B.V. is an international, creative e-learning agency with its headquarters in The Hague and a team in Suriname. We focus on creating modern educational products such as e-learning, software simulations and animation videos. We do this with a motivated team based in the Caribbean. We also work closely with freelancers from Canada, the US, the UK and South Africa, among others.

Our founder, Jan Kouwenhoven, grew up with a Sega Mega Drive and is a big fan of Sonic the Hedgehog. Jan is eager to share this passion with the world. But what turns out? The team at Maxcademy has little to no experience with the blue hedgehog. In fact, except for the founder, the team only has experience with PacMan. Jan would like to change this. Work hard, play hard.

Career

You start by becoming a Sonic expert yourself. The first weeks you play Sonic the Hedgehog about 6 hours per week and watch online tutorials. You'll learn how to best tackle time trials and boss battles. The other 2 hours per week you will talk to our team members, learn more about their video game skills and think about technical possibilities to get Sonic the Hedgehog into the living room of the team members.

Then you write a proposal for a training program that you discuss with the founder. It is important to choose a step-by-step approach in which the results can be measured.

Is this going well for you? Then we can also ask you to train our customers, partners and network contacts to become Sonic masters.

Do you notice that you like this work and have a passion for training? Then we also have opportunities for you to grow, for example to become an e-learning specialist.
